The Flora Stud Earrings transform those botanical fossil impressions into contemporary wearable objects. Each earring begins as a handcrafted UHPC concrete disc carrying a recessed botanical fossil impression. The fossil impression is individually filled with mineral resin before every surface is sanded, sealed and hand-finished.
Natural mineral particles, tiny air bubbles and subtle variations of color are inherent characteristics of handcrafted concrete.
Rather than depicting dinosaurs themselves, Flora celebrates the landscapes that made their existence possible.
