Material & Purpose
A quiet sculptural presence that brings mineral atmosphere and subtle depth to everyday spaces, holding fragrance as naturally as cooled stone holds warmth. Designed to hold and present fragrance, it rests on a desk, shelf, or bedside table as a quiet sculptural object — the volcanic skin catching light the way cooled lava holds the memory of its flow.
Surface & Craft
Each piece is poured by hand, then individually worked to develop a porous, mineralised finish — somewhere between weathered basalt and cooled magma. The silhouette takes its cue from the broad, low plates running along the back of a Stegosaurus: rhythmic, segmented, low to the ground. No two pieces are identical. Small variations in tone, pore size, and surface grain are part of the material, not a defect.
Colorways
Obsidian Ash — a deep charcoal, near-black tone with fine mineral grain and a quiet sheen under direct light. Reads as stone, not plastic.
Fossil Ivory — a warm off-white with subtle cream and bone undertones. Catches morning light without ever feeling cold.
Where It Belongs
Living room side tables, bedroom dressers, meditation corners, writing desks, or entryway consoles. The form is small enough to live next to a stack of books, large enough to anchor a quiet vignette. It does not announce itself — it sits, and slowly scents the air around it.
Care
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth; do not rinse under running water or submerge
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — extended UV exposure can shift the surface tone over time
- Do not place on porous or unsealed wood for long periods; oil may transfer
- When switching fragrance families, wipe the reservoir clean and let it air fully before reuse
- UHPC concrete is dense and durable, but the volcanic surface is intentional and will patina with use
